Simple answer: The energy of the past is still connected to you. Healing journeys can range from quick and easy to weeks, months, or even a lifetime, but every step taken is meaningful and valuable.
Many people overlook the fact that healing occurs in layers. When we release one layer of pain or trauma, it often creates space for another to surface. Sometimes, to move forward, we need to revisit and heal these deeper layers. At times, hurt can stem from multiple sources simultaneously, and addressing only one aspect doesn’t mean we’ve fully healed—it simply means there’s more work to do. It’s important to recognize that healing is a process, not a destination, and each new insight brings us closer to wholeness.
Furthermore, healing is a deeply personal experience. What helps one person might not work for another. Different approaches and modalities may be needed to address various issues—what heals a small wound might differ from what’s required for something more significant.
